Brand Share Keyword Tracking and Indexing Check

 

Objective:

  • To see if there is an improvement in the brand share through SEO by tracking the keywords used in Phase 4 SEO.

  • To have visibility of improvement across the targeted ASINs in the client’s account.

 

  1. Extract Data from Search Query Performance

Head over to Brands and click on Brand Analytics. From there, click on the View Search Analytics, which is located at the top-center of the page.

View all 100 rows and copy all the information, and paste them into your worksheet

Once you have pasted all the information into your worksheet, create a filter – sort the brand share under Search Funnel Purchases by adding a filter between 0 to 0.5. See figure 4.

Next, sort the search query volume from largest to smallest and filter ranks between 1 to 50.

  1. Locate Phase 4 SEO Keyphrases

 

Go to Asana and find the Phase 4 SEO worksheet. Then, get the Phase 4 keyphrases and add them to a separate sheet on your worksheet

Access Helium10 Cerebro and process the ASIN you want to extract the keywords. For the purposes of this training, we shall be using B07DT4WG2M as our sample ASIN. Just like the process in Keyword Tracking (without H10 scenario), we must pull up the keywords of a specific ASIN by exporting its data. You may opt to export it as a CSV file. See figure 7.

Next, transfer all the data from the downloaded file to your worksheet and add the ASIN as the sheet title. On the sheet itself, please remove the unnecessary columns except Keyword Phrase, Search Volume, and Organic Rank. Make sure to add the keyword distribution as well, such as the Total Keywords, Sponsored Keywords, Organic keywords, and Amazon Recommended. See figure 9 for reference.

Then, locate Phase 4 SEO worksheet and get all the keywords used in such phase. They can also be found on the search query performance tab on every Phase 4 SEO worksheet (highlighted in yellow).

Once you have gathered all the keywords, cross-reference them with keywords you pulled up when doing keyword tracking via Cerebro. Make sure that they stay on top of the worksheet.

As a result of this training, you should be able to see if there is an improvement in the brand share through SEO by tracking the keywords used in Phase 4 SEO.
