Greetings Amazon Team,
We are requesting a restock level maximum inventory limit increase from 1500 to 3000 units. Our current IPI score is 767 and we cannot fill the recommended restock and replenishments that Amazon is recommending.
Thanks!
Hi Nandani,
- Increase request for current quarter
- Standard size increase
- Yes, this is for a restock limit increase
- Storage Volume is currently unlimited and fine. This is a request for maximum inventory level increase from 1500 units to 3000 units. I've attached a screenshot.
- Amazon is requesting FBA restock of additional units in our catalog and we can not send additional units in because of our current maximum inventory level limit. Our IPI is 767 and our Inventory metrics are all in the green.

Hi team. I just want to share with you this piece of news that Amazon published yesterday (if you haven't seen it already). If you have any clients that could benefit from this change, I recommend that you reach out to them bearing good news!
Bottom line: "Sellers like you, most of whom are small and medium-sized businesses, accounted for over half of the sales from Black Friday through Cyber Monday. To further enable your success, we’ve been working to increase our hiring and expand our fulfillment network. These investments allowed for an overall increase in the amount of product you could send in during the holiday season.
In recent weeks, we’ve been able to further increase the restock limits for many sellers and intend to do the same for many more sellers early next year. We’re also excited to share that effective January 1, 2022, we’ll reduce the Inventory Performance Index (IPI) threshold for FBA storage limits to 400. With this IPI change, less than 10% of sellers will have storage volume limits."
