Remove Unauthorized Sellers (Hijackers)

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All report hijackers need to be done through the CLIENT account. 

We do not check the hijackers or report them on a regular basis. Since this process has legal implications, we cannot take any responsibility. Therefore, we wouldn’t like to report the unauthorized sellers ourselves. We have prepared an SOP for the clients to manage the process themselves: Client Version - SOP: Remove Unauthorized Sellers (Hijackers)

If there is a need for MAG, we need to follow the steps below:

First of all, make sure the client has signed the “Brand Registry Release Waiver - Clients that have Signed Wavier”. If they haven’t signed the waiver yet, reach out to POC for the account and have them sign the waiver BR Release Waiver before starting the process. DO NOT start the task until the waiver is signed by the client.

The client must provide the exact ASIN and seller name to report.Requests such as reporting except the seller won’t be accepted. They must provide specific seller information to be reported.

All report hijackers need to be done through the client account. DO NOT USE MAG ACCOUNT ACCESS TO REPORT HIJACKERS.

Retraction process has been very complicated on Amazon recently and we are not able to retract half of the reports. Clients should be aware we might not be able to retract a complaint after it is submitted.

THE PROCESS

Browse brand registry console: https://brandregistry.amazon.com/

Go to Protect >> Report a violation

Select correct marketplace and enter ASIN:

Select the hijackers on the list. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SELECT THE SELLER.

Click on “Trademark infringement” under the “Select issue type” dropdown menu:

Select “Product is counterfeit” option:

Select brand name and trademark from the dropdown menus:

Select “No” and proceed:

Enter the following message to the text box:

“We are the brand owner of this product. We are not allowing any 3rd party sales of this product and we do not provide this product to other sellers. Therefore, this offer is definitely counterfeit.”

Enter CLIENT’S INFORMATION for contact information:

You can find client’s contact information on the clients spreadsheet or reach out to the POC directly. DO NOT use MyAmazonGuy contact information.

Click Submit.
